200% recommend!!! Best Alpaca experience I have had. Have done this before,elsewhere, but this was by far superior. The staff were amazing, friendly and happy to share so much knowledge - Fantastic morning!!. More to do than just walk with the alpaca. We did an alpaca obstacle course, walk, feeding and herding . Definitely going back again huge thumbs up 👍🏻!

At Bowbridge Alpacas we offer a unique Alpaca Experience. You can choose between our 1hr Alpaca Experience including mini-obstacle course or our 2hr Alpaca Experience including a leisurely trek with further obstacles. Read on to find out more about what is included in both.
The 1hr Alpaca Experience involves being introduced to the whole herd- females, babies (crias), stud males and pet boys- and hand-feeding them, a demonstration of "CameliDynamics" a method of training enjoyable both to the alpacas and the human, some hands-on clicker training, leading an alpaca around a mini-obstacle course and learning something about the care of alpacas and their fleece and fleece products, with lots of unique photo-opportunities throughout the visit.
The 2hr Alpaca Experience is our most popular experience as it includes a leisurely trek leading an alpaca each, or in pairs, around our paddocks, including further more advanced obstacles and a short needle-felting session after which you would actually take home your own wee alpaca made from our own alpaca fleece. You will also have longer to enjoy each of the other activities included in the 1hr Alpaca Experience and smaller group sizes.
Pre-booking is essential.
1hr Alpaca Experiences are currently running alternate weeks on
Wednesdays and Fridays at
at 2:30pm and on every Saturday at 10:30am.
2hr Alpaca Experiences are available on alternate
Wednesday and Fridays and every Saturday at
2:30pm (2pm Dec/Jan)
Other times may be available by request. Private bookings are possible with an additional charge. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
*Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
*There must be a minimum of two paying customers per booking.
*Under 5's are free with a paying adult. For safety young children must have one adult each to accompany them.
*As the alpaca experience is packed with so many activities it is not suitable for spectators.
*Groups of 10 or more please get in contact for more information on group bookings and how we can make your visit extra special and bespoke to your group.
